In order to provide support for artists interested in taking advantage of Manifest Drawing Center's rich programming for extended development, we offer an Atelier Study Pass, which enables participants to attend up to any and all Drawing Center programs for no additional charge for the period selected at time of enrollment (12 or 6 months)*. This amounts to a significant discount on a full year of programming starting from the first day used.
The cost of the Atelier Study Pass is $5,000 for a full year, or $3,000 for six months, paid in advance.
The value of the full-year Study Pass credit is estimated to be up to $20,000* — as much as a 75% discount — and may be used to attend any program offered at the Manifest Drawing Center during the one-year period beginning on the first day used. The value of the six-month Pass is estimated to be up to $10,000*, as much as a 70% discount, and corresponds strictly to the portion of a year it covers.
*The Study Pass includes all programming — from weekly Open Sessions and Labs to routine classes and workshops, printmaking studio access, darkroom labs, our new Art History programming, special visiting artist workshops, and our weekly Drawing As Mindfulness sessions. This opportunity, by its very nature, exposes the participant to the intensive practice of ongoing studio work, supported by the mentoring and instruction of some of the region's best teaching artists on an ongoing basis. The Pass cannot be used to register for any 4 or 8 week program that has a majority of its meetings outside the Pass's end date, nor for extending Drawing as Mindfulness registration past the Pass's end date.
The Atelier Study Pass does not provide a specific curriculum, but rather enables the holder to devise their own curriculum by choosing from among the ongoing offerings at Manifest.
Printmaking Studio: the Study Pass also covers the cost to attend Manifest Printmaking Studio courses and workshops, and can be applied to Block Pass registration for open studio access to the presses. Where a Qualification Review fee applies for studio access, the Pass covers that cost as well. The addition of the Printmaking Studio alongside our expanding Art History programming adds real, ongoing value to what the Pass covers.

WHO SHOULD CHOOSE THE STUDY PASS?
The Atelier Study Pass is appropriate for anyone wanting to engage in serious ongoing visual arts practice with instruction, as well as independent study supported by Manifest's vibrant offerings, unique facility, and a regular peer group which includes working artists, college professors, current students, art and design professionals, and others aspiring to perfect their art, learning, and creativity.
An Atelier Study Pass student could be someone wanting to get a leg up on their skill before entering college in order to obtain scholarships or acceptance into a competitive program; someone recently graduated but wanting to cement their development as a bridge between academia and professional practice; someone whose life took a different path but who now wants to bring it back to serious creative pursuits; or someone who wants to strengthen the consistency of their work in order to pursue exhibition opportunities and further critical success. The self-determined curriculum means the Atelier Study Pass serves a wide audience seeking routine and rigor in a visual art practice. It is part of Manifest's nonprofit mission to support such endeavors, and the Pass is one way we expand our service to artists.
The Six-Month Pass is for those who, for reasons of work, travel, or other obligations, cannot commit to a full year of intense creative engagement. Beyond the strict duration, this pass provides the same benefits as the full year pass, with the exception of Visiting Artist Workshops being limited to a total of 3 during the pass period.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
The Atelier Study Pass can begin any time up to a month after registration and tuition payment are complete.
Please note: you will be presented a 'thank you' page after successful submission of your registration for the Manifest Atelier Study Pass. This page will also provide the option to pay for the Pass by credit card through PayPal.

If Study Pass credit is not used within the timeframe selected, starting with first use, the remainder is non-refundable. Passes cannot be converted to a longer term once begun, and credit does not carry over.
Credit from the Manifest Atelier Study Pass is not transferrable from the person listed on this form.
In order to use Atelier Study Pass credit, the recipient must register for the desired course or session, then simply contact Manifest by email to confirm application of credit. This enables our staff to reserve seats in the appropriate classes or sessions. All such emails should be addressed to our team at studio@manifestdrawingcenter.org.
